What is Alpha?
Alpha is for:
- Anyone interested in finding out more about the Christian Faith
- Love, Learning and Laughter
- Pasta!
- Helping each other
- Asking Anything
Who is Alpha for?
- People, from teenagers upwards, will benefit.
- It particularly caters for: people investigating Christianity
- new Christians
- newcomers to the congregation
- those who feel they have never really got going as a Christian

What happens at Alpha?
- Who is Jesus?
- What evidence is there that Jesus rose from the dead?
- Why did Jesus die?
- Can I be sure that I am a Christian?
- Why and how do I read the Bible?
- How should we pray?
- How does God guide us?
- Is the Holy Spirit active today?
- How can I overcome evil?
- Why and how do I tell other people?
- Does God heal today?
- During the evening there is a time of teaching covering one of these topics. After that, we divide into smaller groups to discuss questions people have and to look at a passage in the Bible.
- There is no charge for Alpha, but there will be a small cost, about £10, for the day away.

- Alpha meets in Telford, either in someone's home or at J1. The Alpha evening starts with a meal all together at 7.00pm. We aim to finish by 9.30pm
